Good Morning Manuel,

I’d like to thank you for this most recent podcast. I’d also like to welcome you back,since its been a while since your last podcast. Its great to see you back.

I really like this most recent podcast. Maybe for the next one you might think about adding to this list of body parts. But Perhaps with a bit of a twist.
Like, it would be great to learn how to say tooth, but also learn how to say I have a tooth ache. Knee is great, but would love to learn I hurt my knee.

Lap is wonderful, but how about Come here, sit on my Lap.
Toe would be another body part to learn,and with it, I stubbed my toe.Then there is toenail and finger nail. I broke my finger nail or toe nail.

Eye is wonderful to learn. can we learn to say , I have something in my eye.also perhaps hair and hair cut.

Just some suggestions. Oh , and as far as your request, I like getting the podcast so I can learn them all at once, but I also like the pdf version so we can study the written version as well. thanks so much..Maraming Salamat Po.

I just discovered this podcast and the tv signal as well. This is a great blessing. It is very important to me to learn Tagalog and Cebuano languages. I am sponsoring 3 children in Luzon and it is my heart’s desire to write to them in their language. It is almost impossible to find any information about the languages or the Philippines in general here in Texas. For sure I will return to study. Thanks for posting this……i am a filipina married to a dutch and now we have 2 wonderful boys…..my eldest – Kendrick, is now learning to play flute and i’ve been searching for the right notes of “Bahay Kubo” and i am very happy that i finally find it in your site…..thank you so much for sharing….now its my turn to teach this to my son! more power!

I have been waiting for your next podcast so long. This is a great way to learn Tagalog, and I appreciate it very much. Next week I’m going to read Philippine fairy tales in our monthly so called “Carrousel of Languages” in Tagalog – German for an interested audience from age 8 – 88 in my hometown in Bad Voeslau, and my wife (Pilipina) will sing the song “Bahay Kubo” too.

Thank you. In the nursery class I work in, there are quite a few children from the Philippines and one of the mothers told me the words to Bahay Kubo to sing with the children, but some of the vegetables are hard to translate into English! Now we can sing the song properly.

My 4 year old daughter has a school presentation this month on bahay kubo. She memorized the song already but she doesn’t know the meaning of any of the words. So I started searching for pictures of every word in bahay kubo , then I came across your website. It’s cool and informative at the same time. Thank you for making it easier for me.
