I just discovered this podcast and the tv signal as well. This is a great blessing. It is very important to me to learn Tagalog and Cebuano languages. I am sponsoring 3 children in Luzon and it is my heart's desire to write to them in their language. It is almost impossible to find any information about the languages or the Philippines in general here in Texas. For sure I will return to study. If you are aware of other resources of Tagalog language study, please let me know. Thank you, may God bless you.

[From Manuel] Thanks, Robert! As soon as I organize a list of Tagalog language resources online, I'll post it online...

Manuel,

I have been waiting for your next podcast so long. This is a great way to learn Tagalog, and I appreciate it very much. Next week I'm going to read Philippine fairy tales in our monthly so called "Carrousel of Languages" in Tagalog - German for an interested audience from age 8 - 88 in my hometown in Bad Voeslau, and my wife (Pilipina) will sing the song "Bahay Kubo" too.

Greetings and Mabuhay from Austria (Europe)
Robert and Eli
