Some of the words you used are not colloquial Tagalog. Luntian or green should be ‘berde’. Bughaw or blue should be ‘asul’. Violet should be ‘ube’. Sure, the first 2 are derived from Spanish, while the 3rd is from a purple root crop, but isn’t that how language evolves? Who calls green ‘luntian’ in everyday use? Heck, most people even say ‘kulay grin’ when saying ‘color green’ in Tagalog.
[From Manuel] Thanks, Pastor! As this podcast evolves, I will include more colloquial Tagalog. :-)

Hello Manuel,
Thank you for this site. I am an assistant pastor in an Australasian church in Australia mainly Filipino and I love them all. I needed some very simple Tagalog lessons I could download onto my ipod. Now when I am in a waiting room or on public transport I can practise. Keep up the good work thanks again. Glennys.
[From Manuel] Thanks for dropping by, Glennys!
