GMail Won't Accept Password

Something weird happened awhile ago. GMail refused to accept my password.

I checked and double-checked, yes, even the CAPSLOCK key. I did not forget the password. Yet GMail kept insisting what I typed in was wrong, and refused to accept my password.

So I went through the entire password recovery process. It's a good thing the secondary email address was still working, because I had already forgotten the answer to the "security question."

Here's how to protect yout GMail account: Avoid opening other webpages while you are logged into GMail.

If you need to visit other sites, just copy/paste them into Notepad (or your favorite text editor). Then after you've logged out of GMail, that's the time you can visit the blogs or webpages you noted down earlier.

Hopefully, this will decrease instances when GMail doesn't accept your password. Happy computing! :-)
