Sun Prepaid Wireless Broadband

Your internet broadband connection just got more affordable with the Sun Broadband Wireless Prepaid service.

You can now get the Sun Prepaid Wireless Broadband kit for only P1,895 (comes with 5 hours free). It looks like a USB flash drive (smaller than the Huawei E220 HSDPA USB modem).

UPDATE: It's probably a Huawei E160, according to Jepoy Bengero's Sun Broadband Wireless Goes Prepaid.

You can achieve speeds of up to 2 Mbps (depending on your location), and you can stay connected for as low as P6.25 per 30 minutes:

Regular Load - P10 - 30 mins - valid for 2 hours
SBW 100 - P100 - 6 hours - valid for 2 days (effective rate: P8.33/30 mins)
SBW 300 - P300 - 24 hours - valid for 5 days (eff rate: P6.25/30 mins)

Typical retail wireless broadband connections go for P10/30 minutes here in the Philippines, so if you plan to go out of town with your laptop or netbook, you can save with the Sun Prepaid Wireless Broadband service. Just make sure the places you plan to go to have SBW coverage. Metro Manila is now covered by the 3.5G Broadband service.
