Convert PDF To Excel

Some friends are asking how they can convert their PDF files into Excel spreadsheets.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

Usually, when they just highlight and copy the table found in a PDF file, it looks like a single column when they paste it in Excel. Is there an easier way to do this?

Apparently, there is no easy way to do it yourself. That's why there are several companies out there that sell a PDF-to-Excel converter software. For example, you ahve PDF2XL, Able2Extract, and many more.

Which one is the best? I suggest you download their free trial so that you can quickly see if it works with your computer system, or if you are happy with the way the program works, then that's the time to purchase it.

Why test it first? Well, I don't know if you are using a PDF file that simply contains images. If that's the case, you might end up with a spreadsheet that you cannot edit.

Expect software prices of around $99 for this kind of application. If you're looking for a free alternative, you can try asking the person who sent you the PDF file if he or she can email you the original Excel spreadsheet.

(If you're looking for a free PDF to Word converter, you can try SomePDF.com)
