PR Agency in the Philippines

What makes a PR agency successful?

A public relations agency's success hinges primarily on its ability to build and manage relationships.

While advertising agencies tend to focus more on the product, the market, the message, and the medium used to deliver the message, all those activities will make you ask: Do they have the time to build strong relationships with a lot of social mavens?

Fortunately, that's an area that PR agencies can excel in. Afterall, their time and focus is not eaten up by the usual storyboarding and the development of the marketing message. The out-of-town photo shoots, preparation of trannies, casting... all those are handled by the Advertising people.

PR folks focus on relationships with journalists or columnists, for example.

In addition, since they're not handling TV ad placements, PR practitioners are used to handling smaller budgets. And you know what meshes well with this, right? I'm talking about the internet and social media. Don't be surprised if you see today's PR professionals spending time with bloggers.

On the web, bandwidth limitations dictate the kind of medium companies can use to get their message across. Online, glitzy high-def commercials will simply not cut it. People are more interested in building relationships.

And that's something strongly felt in the field of Social Media. So if you're looking for a PR Agency in the Philippines, you can ask them for their Social Media portfolio, and see how many relationships they've forged.
