Asian Business Directory

Online portals are still the rage these days, and the newer ones are focusing on Asia.

The Asian Business Directory is relatively new, and lists some 169 sources in its 38 categories.

The largest category is, unsurprisingly, the Business category. It contains 21 entries. I wonder, though, what the number 21 stands for, because once you enter the Business category, you'll find over 310 listings.

At any rate, you can add your web site to the Asian Business Directory. From the looks of things, listing is free. All you need to do is register, and you'll be able to get your own username and password.

The ABD online needs to add more articles, though. For example, the About Us page (or section) just contains a link labeled Futuregen International Pte Ltd, which will lead you to FutureGen.sg's web site.

From Future Gen's "About Us" page we learn that it "was formed in late 2006 after its founders, Wilson and Jane Chua, discovered that their views and best practices were becoming ever increasingly popular.... Future Gen run the whole spectrum of services to include web application hosting, security, management and search engine optimization..."

It's good to find Filipinos helping others gain increased exposure on the web. For you Pinoy bloggers out there, you might wish to add your blog to the present listing of 29 blogs (in the Blogging category). There's still lots of space for the 200,000 plus Filipino bloggers, right?

What are you waiting for? Get listed today. Visit the Asian Business Directory now.
