PDF Security and IE7

Have you been receiving PDFs via email recently? Please don't open those.Mi

Microsoft has confirmed PDF attacks and is still working on a solution. If you're running on WindowsXP, please take extra care when opening PDF files.

Moreso if you got those PDF files from people you don't know. And even if the person is someone you do know, please be cautious if you did not request for such a file in the first place.

Afterall, it's so easy to forge the "From" address of emails.

If you prefer, you can send an email to your correspondents and ask them if they really sent you the PDF file.

In the past, we've been smugly complacent about PDF files. We used to think viruses, spyware or malware cannot be hidden inside such kinds of "data only" files. Well, things have changed.
