WordPress SecurityIs your WordPress blog secure? Here's how to find out. After reading Lorelle VanFossen's Are You Risking Your Blog With An Unofficial Or Vulnerable WordPress Theme, I downloaded and installed Philipp Heinze's WordPress Scanner tool from BlogSecurity. Once the plugin is installed, it will insert "wpscanner" in your blog posts. This then allows you to use the BlogSecurity WP Scanner in: http://blogsecurity.net/cgi-bin/wp-scanner.cgi Once you've gotten the findings (which may take a couple of minutes), you'll need to deactivate the WordPress Scanner plugin. Otherwise, others may be able to see the info you were shown. Try it and see if you need to change the WP theme your blog has been using all this time. Yes, it will take time and effort, but the security of your blog is worth it.
