Globe GCash Notes

Here are my notes regarding the Globe G-Cash mobile payment solution.

If you're a Globe cellular service subscriber, you can use your cell phone to send or even receive payments. The number to send sms messages to is 2882.

Here are the keyphrases to send to 2882 to learn about various GCash topics:

INFO REG - Register for GCash.
INFO CHG - To change your MPIN.
INFO BAL - To get your balance.
INFO TXN - To get your list of transactions.
INFO SEND - To send GCash.
INFO BILLPAY - Pay bills with GCash.
INFO DONATE - Donate to charitable institutions.
INFO LOAD - Send load to yourself or others.
INFO ACT - Activate wallet.
INFO SUS - Suspend wallet.
INFO COLIST - List of Cash-Out outlets.
INFO PLIST - List of outlets accepting GCash payments.
INFO CILIST - List of Cash-In outlets.
INFO STOP - Stop all GCash transactions.

And here are the actual GCash commands to send to 2882:

BAL MPIN - To get your balance.

To load your cellphone:
LOAD AMOUNT MPIN
(Available amount denominations are 10-24, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 300, 500, and 1000. Daily limit is now P1,000.)

To load another cellphone:
LOAD AMOUNT MPIN
(but send to 2882 + 10-digit cellphone number)

To send GCash money to another cellphone:
AMOUNT MPIN [Optional 70-Char Message]
(send to 2882 + 10-digit cellphone, as in 28829xxxxxxxx)
