Graphic Novels

During my time, graphic novels were known as comic books. Or long-ish comic-strip books.

Since fourth grade students are hearing about graphic novels right in their classrooms, here's additional information for parents who want to carry on a longer conversation with their pre-teeners.

"Graphic novel and comic book news, recommendations, and reviews with attitude" -- The "attitude" probably means some of the posts may shock you. I wonder why some teachers recommended this site to 10 year-olds. Perhaps they didn't see the occasional out-of-place post.
