Huge and Free Online Photo Album

If you need a place to store all your digital photos, try Zooomr, the Flickr alternative.

Thanks to Max Limpag, I found out about Zooomr's generous offer of free Pro accounts to bloggers, which means you can store even more of your photos online.

More, as in more than what you can store in Flickr.

What's great about that? You can maintain your blog in your present host and save on space. Since photos take up more space than plain text, you can maximize the space in your blog. Use your blog for text and Zooomr for the photos.

For example, the photo above (hosted for free at Zooomr) was taken in the Old Spaghetti House in Robinsons Galleria. Although it needs more space than my usual text entries, I don't need to increase the hard disk space of this site. Afterall, the photo is hosted on another site.

True, it is possible that Zooomr might not be online sometimes, but once you start putting LOTS of photos online, can you afford the hard disk space (and bandwidth cost) needed for those pictures?

Thanks to Zooomr's free Pro account, I don't have to shy away from featuring more photos in this site.
