Locking PLDT Overseas Phones

Here's how to lock your PLDT phone to prevent people from making overseas or long-distance calls.

To lock your phone:
*54*xxxx# (where xxxx is your 4-digit PIN or security code)

To unlock your phone for overseas calls:
#54*xxxx#

To change your PIN:
*85*xxxx*yyyy# (where xxxx is your current PIN and yyyy is the new code)

Or, to save you the hassle of locking and unlocking your phone each time you want to make PLDT long-distance phone calls:

Dial country code + area code + telephone number + 4-digit PIN #

And if you've forgotten your PIN, please call 171 for assistance.
