Bowiechick, a 17-year-old, demos neat webcam effects that are making quite a buzz among teenagers.

In Teenage auteur ignites buzz about video graphics, Greg Sandoval writes how "Bowiechick" uploaded a video where she talks about her break-up. That video has been viewed over 194,000 times (the last time I looked).

Several effects were shown on that video, and Bowiechick explains how she did it:

Will this help boost the sales of Logitech webcams? That remains to be seen. What's clear, though, is that quite a number of teeners are now aware of Logitech and the cute avatars you can superimpose on your webcam image. Yes, that's the power of viral marketing.

I wonder how long it will take before people start creating their own avatars for Logitech webcams.
