Word Counter
Did you ever need to count the number of words in your article without using MS Word?
This Online Word Counter Tool allows you to easily find out how many words and characters your article has. Simply copy/paste your article into the box, click on the "Count Words" button, and a pop-up window will reveal to you the stats of your article.
It uses javascript, and the code does not reveal anything that indicates your pasted article is emailed or sent to someone. If, like most writers, you need an added layer of security, save the file into your hard disk, disconnect from the internet, then run the Word Count javascript program.
This tool is useful especially for mobile writers who may find themselves in some internet cafe. A lot of internet cafes do not have MS Word installed in their computers, so in case you need to beat a deadline for your 500-word article, then this tool will help you.
