Video: Because I'm a Girl (by Kiss)

Found out that the video I've been curious about for ages is entitled "Because I'm A Girl" by the band called Kiss.

The music video is about a photographer who falls in love with a beautiful hairdresser (or is it parlor assistant?). They go out and one time, when the girl is in the photographer's studio, she accidentally topples a chemical-filled bottle carelessly left open on the top shelf by the photographer.

The chemicals spill on the girl's eyes and she is rushed to the hospital.

The photographer breaks up with her and asks her to find someone better than he. The song's refrain talks about how guys break the hearts of girls for whom love is everything.

I don't know why the actor (Shin Hyeon-joon) seems to gravitate towards women who go blind. He's the same actor in the Koreanovela "Stairway to Heaven".

Anyway, if you do watch the music video, you might want to prepare some tissue. Just in case... ;-)

(The song is sung by the female trio K.I.S.S. lead vocalist Lee Ji-Yeon of South Korea. She's also known as Theresa Kauffmann, or JiNi.)
