Philippine Internet Demographics

People have been asking about internet stats involving the Philippines. Here's a quick listing.

I wonder if most of these women are online because of blogging, shopping, chatting, instant messaging, or email.

Internet users in the Philippines reach 11.8 million (2004)
That's according to the research firm IDC and the Philippine Internet Commerce Society. Blogger Touchkey Badzkey presents on the same March 31, 2005 blog entry a table that shows that the "philippines has internet users of only 7.82 million with a percentage penetration of 9.3%".
