SEO: Should You Buy Inbound Links?

Getting high pagerank sites to link to you will improve your search engine rankings. In theory, that is.

People who create web sites usually want more traffic, more visitors, and more visibility in the search engines. That's why they resort to hiring search engine optimization or SEO experts, or they sometimes buy inbound links.

For example, if you can convince a PR7 or high pagerank site to link to you, the search engines will look favorably on your site because a credible webiste or site of authority is linking to you.

But how do you convince those high ranking sites to even notice you, much less point a link to you? Sometimes, you can purchase such links.

If you buy too many, though, that won't help your site become more visible in the search engines. Imagine, if you have around five PR7 sites linking to you, but hardly any PR1 or PR2 sites pointing to you? It will be very obvious that you're just trying to manipulate the search engine rankings by buying your way to the top.

And that's what will penalize your site: your attempt to make those search engines look less credible.

So grow your site the slower but natural way. Before you know it, you'll have lots of visitors (and email).
