Daylite Call and Text Unlimited - 15 DaysSun Cellular is upgrading their Daylite Call and Text Unlimited offering. From September 15, 2005 until October 31, 2005 only, you can enjoy three extra days of DCTU for free. For just P100, your DCTU will be valid for 15 days instead of the usual 12. My cell phone says: "With Daylite Call and Text Unlimited, enjoy UNLIMITED CALLS 12midnight-6pm, P1 PER MINUTE calls: 6:01pm-11:59pm and unlimited Sun-to-Sun texts all day, all night!" Looks like the cell phone / telco industry is in for pretty interesting times. Now that VoIP services can be offered even by non-telcos, you have phone companies lowering their overseas call rates. But I'm not complaining. More affordable calls and texts means more conversations. And out here on the internet with all its web sites and blogs, we all see what happens when conversations increase. Hopefully, with these developments in the Philippine cell phone market, we'll find out if sms texting can attain the same growing political, economic and social influence that blog or on-the-web conversations have on a country.
