Hair Care: How To Prevent Split EndsDo you have your hair cut every month because of split ends? Here's one way of taking better care of your hair. Quite simply: Don't shampoo your hair every day. Shampoo your hair every other day (without conditioner). During the in-between days, just use a conditioner. Some people use Palmolive's "parang kang nagpasalon" conditioner and Vaseline shampoo. In the Philippines where it can be quite humid, a daily bath is a must. Simply wetting your hair is not enough, so people use either shampoo or conditioner (or both) everyday. No wonder lots of people have split ends. Treating your split ends by going to the hair salon every month can be quite expensive, since a typical trim will cost around P150 (about US$2.68). While that may be quite inexpensive compared to, say, prices in the US, there's still the cost of transportation and time. So, if you like to have long, beautiful hair (without the split ends), go easy on the shampoo.
