Train Your Kids To Eat BetterI don't know how to convince my child to eat well. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this article online... In the article Study: Kids Can Be Trained to Eat Better, Lauran Neergaard writes about how kids who are trained to eat healthy during their teen years will continue to do so as they grow up to become adults. I don't know if that will apply to my three year-old, but the key point mentioned is that you should not forbid your kids from eating anything. Yep, that includes "fun" foods. What you should do, however, is make it clear that certain foods have to be eaten more often, while others are treats that can be enjoyed once in a while. Wish me luck, folks. My daughter likes fun foods like chicharon and chichirya. True, she's willing to forego sweets, for example, if she has a cough or bad throat, but I wish she would crave healthier food items more than snacks.
