Satellite TVFor those envious of EchoStar, the largest direct-to-home digital television network in the United States, envy no more. PLDT is reportedly entering the satellite TV business. I wonder what impact this will have on the Philippine internet scene. Will people spend less time with computers? Looks like internet publishers will need to come up with interesting audio content lest they get swept away by the coming satellite TV flood. Perhaps the subscription price will still make the internet attractive, but for how long?
