Upload Your Videos To Google

If you store your videos on your web site and it becomes popular, you'll have to pay higher bandwidth costs. The solution? Let Google store your videos for you!

You can now upload your videos to Google.

This is a rather new service, so don't expect your video to be viewable right away. I just wish they would accept FLV files so that we can have a flash video player here which streams videos stored in Google.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. Afterall, what economic benefit would Google derive from hosting streaming video files?

I dunno... there must be a way to share your streaming videos for free. But that's free from whose point of view?

Some business models there assume the viewer will be the one to pay for the cost of downloading those videos. Other models require the video provider (or advertisers?) to shoulder the cost. Looks like storage is cheap, but bandwidth isn't.
