Gmail Innovations

Gmail keeps getting better and better...

Gmail What's New reports that you can now easily send up to 10MB of photos with the help of Picasa, Google's free photo organizer.

You can also access your Gmail messages via POP, which means you can use Outlook, Eudora, or even your Blackberry to read your Gmail.

If you're using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you can also make use of the Gmail notifier which informs you about incoming messages even if you don't have a browser window open.

(From a productivity standpoint, however, it's better to check your email at certain times of the day rather than being "always on." Increased accessibility can be a distraction, since every now and then you'll find out that you have mail.)

Anyway, I'm trying out those Gmail keyboard shortcuts because mousing around tires my right shoulder. Imagine, reading and composing mail using only the keyboard!

If you still don't have a Gmail account, please let me know since I have lots of Gmail invites to share...
