Yahoo! Turns 10

Yahoo! is celebrating its 10th birthday today. Actually the right date is March 2, but since we live on the other side of the world, it's already March 3 here in Manila. But that won't stop us from celebrating.

Amazing... ten years have gone by so quickly. Who would've thought that the internet would play a significant role in our lives today.

I remember that old TV commercial where it was a young girl's birthday party, yet she was looking quite sad.

Her mom asks her: "Hija, why are you sad? You have cakes and balloons naman, ah."

Young Girl: "Iba syempre pag may Magnolia."
(Things are much more different if there's Magnolia, a popular brand of ice cream.)

Flash forward to today's celebration of Yahoo!'s tenth birthday.

"Iba syempre pag may Baskin-Robbins."

Yep, Yahoo is treating people to a single scoop of Baskin-Robbins. Any flavor.
