Blog PlagiarismIt can be frustrating to see your written work copied by someone else and posted on the internet. Some bloggers have suffered from online plagiarists and have come up with an online blog plagiarism watchdog. The Sassy Lawyer launched on Valentines Day the Pinoyblog Watchdog. http://watchdog.pinoyblog.com will help Pinoy bloggers through a database of plagiarists, bandwidth thieves, and even profiles of sites where plagiarism occurs. The database will also help identify related parties such as the web host and domain registrar. (Perhaps you don't really need to go after domain registrars if plagiarism of blog entries or recipes occurs. Just complain to the web host provider.) In case you're curious about who will bother to copy your words online, try CopyScape. The site shows you who's copying your content, and even provides tips on how to deal with intellectual property theft online. (I hope that makes the job of those Pinoyblog Watchdogs easier.)
