LIRA Poetry Workshop - Call For Poems

Are you interested in joining the LIRA Poetry Workshop? You have until May 31, 2004 to submit five sample poems, your bio-data (short version), and a 1x1 ID picture. Please bring those to the office of Dean Virigilio S. Almario of the College of Arts and Letters (CAL), 2nd Floor Bulwagang Rizal, UP Diliman, Quezon City 1101.

The LIRA Poetry Workshop will run from June 2004 until January 2005.

LIRA is an organization of poets who write in Filipino. LIRA offers annual courses and even workshops (palihan) in poetry. These poetry workshops produced today's renowned poets such as Vim Nadera, Romulo Baquiran, Mike Coroza, and siblings Robert and Rebecca A�onuevo.

The LIRA Poetry Workshop gives you lectures about poems and poetry, plus hands-on sessions where your own poems are critiqued, praised, and even published in newspapers, among other things. So join this highly affordable (only P500) and fun workshop. Register today!

Extended po ang deadline ng pagpapasa sa 2004 Linangan sa Imahen Retorika at Anyo (LIRA) Poetry Workshop hanggang Mayo 31, 2004. Gaganapin ang workshop tuwing Sabado mula Hunyo 2004 hanggang Enero 2005. Ang Pambansang Alagad ng Sining na si Virgilio S. Almario ang direktor ng workshop.

Ang lahat ng interesado ay inaanyayahang magpasa ng limang (5) tula sa Filipino kasama ang isang maikling bio-data at 1x1 ID picture sa opisina ni Dean Virgilio S. Ang LIRA ay organisasyon ng mga makatang nagsusulat sa wikang Filipino. Naglulunsad ang LIRA ng taunang kurso at palihan sa paglikha ng mga tula.
