Ebook Internet Marketing Strategy

If you want to quickly spread your ebook over the internet, whether it is for sale or even if it's for free, you can grab these tips when preparing your ebook internet marketing strategy.

1. Build a working web site. This means you clearly show your visitors exactly how they will download our ebook, why they should even bother downloading your ebook, and clearly state if it is all right for them to share the ebook with their friends.

2. Establish a relationship. Chances are, people will not return to your web site. You can help build a relationship with your readers by getting permission to keep in touch. For example, you can say: "To get a free copy of the ebook, please send a blank email to... (autoresponder address)"

When people send email, and after they confirm that they want to keep in touch with you, they will subscribe to your "keep in touch" list with the help of that email robot or autoresponder.

Some folks will not want to send email (and reveal their email address) right away, so you can offer a preview download right there on your web site. The sample download might contain a few chapters of your ebook, for example. At the end of the preview ebook, you can put something like: "To get more preview chapters, please send email to..."

3. Get your site noticed by others. The safest way to do this would be to post useful articles related to your ebook. The search engines will index those pages, and people searching for those related items will find themselves reading your articles. At the bottom of those web pages, invite the reader to download your ebook.

4. Help people online. You can also participate in online discussion forums. Just check the rules concerning whether or not you can place a link to your web site or to your autoresponder.
