Conversation with a Nurse

Learned from Nurse K that manicures/pedicures in the States cost US$10 (plus tip, sometimes). In the Philippines, it costs less than US$1. Also found out that the typical tip given to waiters in the States is around 15%, and that this is automatically included in the bill if there are six or more customers in your table. Basic haircuts cost $15, while "reputable" haircuts cost $30. In the Philippines, it's something like $3.

So why work abroad?

I'm able to save more.
