Otso Otso Dance Craze

Lots of kids dance the otso-otso, or ocho-ocho (eight-eight). I tried it and it hurt my lower back.

You keep your knees together and slightly bend forward. Place your palms on your lap, near the knees. Then you arch your lower back, then push it towards the ground. It's like the cool down move where you raise and lower your back.

Hard to understand? Check out the graphic below...

The Last Words on Otso-Otso - etymological meaning of the word otso-otso: osteoporosis.

"...otso-otso is part of the Spageti Dance."

Where the otso otso dance step first appeared?
