Yes, that means you can search not only through Titles and Author Names, but also inside books you haven't even seen.

Steven Johnson also writes about the potential of Amazon allowing you to search through books you already own. Imagine, your own library's search engine.

That's why some people put up a web site where you write snippets about your life and other things you wish to remember. You can put a search engine, for example, and quickly search through your hundreds of entries: journal entries, phone numbers of this or that caterer, links to tutorials online, and many more.
