To receive updates on SSS contributions, send the following text message to 288:

SSS (space) CONTRI (space) 10-DIGIT SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 through a mobile phone.

To determine the status of a member's salary loan application, simply text:

SSS (space) SLSTAT (space) 10-DIGIT SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 through a mobile phone.
