Alternator Terror and Noisy RadiosEver have your car battery go dead on you? And then you replace it, only to have it die again after just a few days? And then you go and have the alternator repaired because apparently it wasn't charging the battery well? Only to have the battery die again after a few days? That happened to us, and it sounds similar to this electrical mystery tour. The thing is, our AM car radio still sounds too noisy -- scratches, clicks, whining sound and other weird noises when you step on the brakes or when you use your signal light. While faulty alternators can cause radio noise, the problem might lie with faulty spark plugs. Either way, I might have to visit the car repair shop... again?! *groan*
