Retirement Checks and Enlightenment

Got depressed this afternoon after signing "retirement" checks. Really felt weird. I don't know those people, but I found myself staring at each of their names, handling each check as if it were some sacred relic, and signing my name carefully as if I were writing on a wedding invitation card.

Dunno... maybe it's time for a bit of Peter Russell's Enlightenment: A New Way of Seeing.
