Kids Affect Mom's Lifespan

Found this at Kirsty Darbyshire's May 10, 2002 entry in Nocto -- Sons cut short their mothers' lives.

Some Finnish research shows that giving birth to and raising a son shorten's a woman's lifespan by 34 weeks, while each daughter extends her mom's life by an average of 23 weeks.

Wanna live forever? Have more daughters.

Or maybe that should read: Wanna stay awake forever?
